Boring people often provide a sense of security, while highly capable people may struggle to provide emotional value. If you only look at flaws, you will find no one in the world to befriend; if you can see the natural gifts behind the flaws, everyone in the world can be your teacher.
True growth is not about grinding oneself down to the average, but finding a suitable position where your flaws become your competitiveness. If you want them to report everything, you must accept their desire for control; if you want them to be fiercely independent, you are destined not to easily enter their heart. Not pandering, not pretending, but growing freely—this is the best state.
